1. What is brunomag.com and who is the company that manages brunomag.com:

www.brunomag.com is a website which addresses software development services and the following services:

– Business consulting;

– Entrepreneurship events and courses;

– IT courses;

– IT events, IoT;

– Recruitment services;

www.brunomag.com is administrated by the BRUNOMAG CONCEPT SRL company, registered at the Trade Register with number J40 / 5643/2012, unique fiscal identity code 29550584, having its registered office in 5 Secuilor Street, sector 4, Bucharest.

Because we collect personal data through the brunomag.com website, we are operators of personal data to Regulation (EU) no. 2016/679, applicable in Romania from May 25, 2018.

Therefore, we have the obligation to manage your personal data in safe conditions and only for the specified purposes and we undertake to comply with these obligations.

3. What are personal data:

Personal data are any information that may be related to an identified or identifiable person (subject). Personal data includes all types of direct or indirect information (and used in connection with other data) referring to the subject. Some examples of personal data are: surname, first name, personal identification number, date of birth, address, e-mail address, phone number, banking data, fax number, series and identity document/ passport, age, online identification items(such as your IP or ID cookie) or your captured image in event photos.

4. What kind of information do we collect from you, what is the purpose for which we collect this information and the legal basis for processing

We collect information according to the activities we carry out and the context in which you interact with us:

4.1. When you sign up for an event

What information we collect:

We provide you with a registration form. This may include the following fields: First Name, Surname, E-mail address, Phone number, Age, Occupation, Business you own, the source from which you learned of the event, expectations from the event, and if you wish to be informed of the events at which Brunomag has the capacity of organizer or co-organizer by email and/or phone.

It is also possible to request additional billing data if our events are paid. Billing data:

  • for individuals: Surname, First name, Address.
  • for legal persons: Company name, Unique Registration Code, Registration Number Trade Register, Address, Email, Phone number, Bank Account / IBAN, Bank.

What is the purpose and legal basis for processing:

The purpose: When we collect information about the surname, first name, e-mail address, phone number, we do so to contact you for details about access to the event and about any changes in the organization program.

The legal basis for processing: is entering into a contract and executing a contract in which you are a party (you are the participant, we are the organizers) or to take the necessary steps, at your request, before the conclusion of a contract. This ground of processing is provided by Article 6 (1) (b) of Regulation (EU) no. 2016/679.

The purpose: When we collect information about the Age, Occupation, Business you own, the source from which you learned about the event and expectations from the event to be able to personalize the event and offer you the most relevant information for your field.

The legal basis for processing: This information is not required to execute our contract and you are not obligated to give them to us to participate in the event, but you can give them only if you want, to help us personalize the event. The legal basis is your consent. This ground of processing is provided by Article 6 (1) (a) of Regulation (EU) no. 2016/679.

You can withdraw your consent at any time, just contact us by email.

The purpose: When we collect billing data, we do so in order to be able to issue your invoice.

The legal basis for processing: our obligation to comply with the legal requirements provided in the Fiscal Code regarding the elements that the invoice must include. This basis is provided by Article 6 paragraph 1 letter c of Regulation (EU) no. 2016/679.

Your refusal to provide the information necessary for the delivery of our services (first name, surname, e-mail, phone number, and home address – for billing) may, as the case may be, terminate our services due to the inability to provide your services.

4.2. When you sign up for our Newsletter

What information we collect:

We have sections on which you can sign up for our newsletter to receive information and articles about our activities. The registration form for the newsletter has the following fields: Surname, First name, E-mail Address.

What is the purpose and legal basis for processing:

The purpose: We use the data to send you information and articles about our activities.

The legal basis for processing: We collect information about your surname, first name and e-mail address only on the basis of your consent. This ground of processing is provided by Article 6 (1) (a) of Regulation (EU) no. 2016/679.

4.3. When you sign up to volunteer for community projects, which we, at Brunomag, support.

What information we collect:

On our Community Projects page we have a form that collects personal data: Proiecte din Comunitate. This form is intended to invite people to volunteer in community projects. The form has the following fields: Name, First Name, E-mail, Telephone, Subject, Message.

What is the purpose and legal basis for processing:

The purpose: This form is intended to collect your data in order to contact you to tell you which projects in the community we support and which you can register as a volunteer. After completing the form you will enter our database and we will inform you as soon as we have a project in which you can join us.

The legal basis for processing: We collect and use the information only on the basis of your consent. This ground of processing is provided by Article 6 (1) (a) of Regulation (EU) no. 2016/679.

4.4. When you contact us directly, by email or phone

What information we collect:

When you contact us directly, we will have access to your e-mail address or phone number, as well as any other information you provide to us by e-mail: https://www.brunomag.com/contact/. The form includes the following fields: Full name, E-mail, Phone number, Message.

What is the purpose and legal basis for processing:

The purpose: We use your data to answer your questions or to provide any other information you require.

The legal basis for processing: We collect and use the information only on the basis of your consent. This ground of processing is provided by Article 6 (1) (a) of Regulation (EU) no. 2016/679.

4.5. When you sign up for our recruitment process 

What information we collect:

We collect personal data through two forms with several fields:

  • The first form contains the following fields: Full name, E-mail address, Phone number, Age range, How many hours do you want to work? In what time frame ?, Do you have a specific/special requirement regarding the working mode? , What is the gross salary (in RON) you want? (http://www.calculatorsalariu.ro/), What is the ideal “boss” model? What is the project you are most proud of and what difficulties did you have in implementing it? What did you learn from this process? Please give us some ideas, Why are you leaving your current job? (if applicable), What was your role at the last job? What did you like and what didn’t you like? Please give 2-3 examples, How many colleagues did you have? How many of them did you work with and how did you divide your business? What was the most difficult and how did you understand it? Please offer Two examples, What are the most important TOP 3 things we need to know about you? How would your colleagues describe you? How can you make a positive contribution to a team? Or do you prefer the role of the “lone wolf”? Which technologies do you enjoy working with the most?, How do you stay up to date with the news in the TECH area? , How do you perform in the field in which you work? Or how do you measure what constitutes progress for you ?, What tools do you use for organization ?, What music do you listen to? (We are music lovers, we go to concerts, etc. J) Do you have any hobbies? If so, what are they? Do you want information about future jobs available via email and/or telephone?.
  • The second form contains the following fields: Email address, Full name, Phone number, On a scale from 1 to 10, how much do you know how to program in PHP? Do a self-assessment and complete the technologies you worked with (ie: Laravel – Note 9, Magento 2 – Note 7, OpenCart – Note 5, PrestaShop – Note 8 etc), On a scale from 1 to 10, how much do you know about NodeJS? Do a self-assessment and complete the technologies you worked with (ie: Express – Note 8, etc.), On a scale from 1 to 10, how much do you know about Python? Do a self-assessment and complete the technologies you worked with (ie Flask – Note 7, etc.), On a scale from 1 to 10, how much do you about how to work in WordPress? Do a self-assessment and complete the technologies you have worked with (ie: Themes – Note 8, Plugin Development – Note 10, etc.), On a scale from 1 to 10, how much are you familiar with working in Git? On a scale of 1 to 10, how familiar are you with Linux? What is the purpose and legal basis for processing:

The purpose: We collect all this data to find the most suitable colleague for our future projects and we want to get to know you better before the first meeting. We are interested in both your technical knowledge and your preferences regarding teamwork and we consider your answers to the questions to determine if we can continue in the recruitment process with the interview phase.

4.6. When you attend our events/courses

We will ask if you give your consent to publish pictures with your image.

When you attend our events, being a public event/course, Brunomag Concept reserves the right to use those pictures and in the confidential offers we send to clients or marketing campaigns.

4.7.When you browse the website

What information we collect: When browsing our site, we collect information about your visit. This information includes the IP address, the location from which you access our site, the operating system you access, and the history of the pages you browse.

What is the purpose and legal basis for processing:

The purpose: We collect this data to see if the information we provide on the website is of interest to readers, to adapt our products and services to market needs, or to diagnose any problems that our website has.

The legal basis for processing our legitimate interest in observing market trends and adapting our online presence. This basis is provided by Article 6 paragraph 1 letter f of Regulation (EU) no. 2016/679.

5. How we ensure the security of your data

We will process your data securely, apply and maintain appropriate technical measures to protect your personal data against accidental or unlawful destruction or loss, alteration, disclosure or unauthorized access, especially when processing involves the transmission of data over a network as much as possible and against any other form of illegal processing.

6. For how long we keep your data

When you register for an event we store your data for a period of 5 years from the completion of the course or from the last payment of the invoice for participating in the course.

When you sign up for our newsletter we keep your data for 3 years from the last e-mail you opened.

When you sign up to be a volunteer in community projects, which we, Brunomag, support, we keep your data for 3 years from the time you signed up for our database or from the last volunteering project in which you participated with us.

When you contact us directly, by email or phone, we keep your data for 3 years from the last email or the last phone call you sent us.

When you sign up for our recruitment process, we will keep your data for 3 years from the moment you filled in your form from the last meeting, telephone discussion or email received from you.

When browsing our website we keep your data for 3 years from the last visit to our website.

7. To whom we disclose your data and why

We may provide your personal data to other companies with whom we are in collaborative relationships when they are business partners working on our behalf, such as external lawyers, but only for the purposes mentioned in this privacy policy. We select our business partners taking care that they will keep the data safe and that the provision of this personal information is made according to the legislation in force, as follows:

  • a. to courier service suppliers;
  • b. to marketing service suppliers;
  • c. to payment/banking service suppliers;
  • d. to marketing service suppliers;
  • e. to insurers;
  • f. to the accounting company;
  • g. to lawyers.

At the same time, only with your consent and prior to this transfer, we send your information to companies with whom we can develop joint programs for offering our goods and services on the market.

We can also transfer the data to public authorities and institutions, if their activity involves knowing this data, when this transfer is necessary to respond to a complaint, to exercise a legitimate interest or to respond in a mandatory legal procedure.

8. Information on data transfer outside the European Union

At this time we do not transfer data outside the European Union.

9. What are your rights

The right to be informed (provided by art. 15 of Regulation (EU) no. 2016/679) – means that you have the right to know who, how and in what way your personal data is processed.

The right to access of data (provided by article 15 of Regulation (EU) no. 2016/679)

– means that you have the right to obtain a confirmation from us that we process or not the personal data concerning you and, if so, you have access to the respective data and to information on how we process your data.

The right to correction (provided by art. 16 of Regulation (EU) no. 2016/679) – means that you have the right to obtain from us the correction, without unjustified delay, of inaccurate personal data. The rectification will be communicated to each person to whom the data was transmitted, unless this proves impossible or involves disproportionate efforts.

The right to delete data (“the right to be forgotten”) (provided by art. 17 of Regulation (EU) no. 2016/679) – means that you have the right to ask us to delete your personal data, without undue delay.

You have this right when (a) the data are no longer necessary for the purposes for which they were collected and processed, (b) you have withdrawn your consent and there is no other legal basis for the processing, (c) you oppose the processing and do not there are legitimate reasons to prevail to continue processing or (d) your data have been processed illegally.

Therefore, please note that there are exceptions to your right to delete data. These exceptions refer, for example, to situations in which your data are processed to fulfill a legal obligation (for example, when we are required to withhold billing data) or when we process them for finding or defending a right in court.

The right to restrict the processing (provided by art. 18 of Regulation (EU) no. 2016/679) – means that you have the right to obtain from us the restriction of the processing when one of the following cases applies: (a) you dispute the accuracy of the data, during a period that allows us to verify the correctness of the data; (b) processing is illegal, and you oppose the deletion of personal data, requesting instead the restriction; (c) if we no longer need your personal data for the purpose of processing, but you ask us for finding, exercising or defending a right in court; (d) in case you oppose processing for the time period in which it is verified that our legitimate rights prevail over your rights.

The right to data portability (provided by art. 20 of Regulation (EU) no. 2016/679) – means that you have the right to receive the personal data you have provided to us and that we process under a contract or to your consent, by automatic means. You have the right to receive this information in a structured, commonly used, and automatically readable format and you have the right to transmit this information to another operator, without any obstacles on our part.

The right to opposition (provided by art. 21 of Regulation (EU) no. 2016/679) – means that you have the right to oppose the processing of personal data, for example when we use them for direct marketing purposes. The right to withdraw your consent for data processing for direct marketing purposes, for example, you have it directly, by using the unsubscribe option in newsletters or by sending an email to office@brunomag.ro.

The right not to be the subject of a decision based solely on automatic processing, including the creation of profiles, which produces legal effects that affect you or affect you to a significant extent.

Time period: We will try to respond to your request within 30 days. However, the term may be extended for specific reasons related to the complexity of your application. When this period is extended, we will inform you about the extension period and the reason why we extended the term.
